Umgibe runs training and outreach programs on the growing high nutrient food gardens, including crop diversification, promoting backyard vegetable and horticulture gardens, school gardens and grain banks to achieve food and nutritional security for the small holder growers.

Umgibe Experiential learning takes place in order to create sustainable communities which lead to sustainable cooperatives, Umgibe way of working means we utilise the resources that the community have to enhance the production capacity using methods that not only preserve the environment but restore dignity.
